Karachi, the commercial capital of Pakistan, is a mega city in every meaning of the word. With approximately 15 million (yes, you read it correctly – fifteen million) citizen, the sea-port city of Karachi is ranked among the 10 most populus cities of the world.

Those planning to visit Karachi to attend SANOG8 are encouraged to virtually fly over Karachi using Google Earth.  The airport is in the north east end of the city while the beach is in the south. A useful kmz file (collection of earth placemarks) from Google Earth Community can be found here and will give visitors a good idea of the major places around the megapolis.
